The Pohutukawa Slab Light. With it’s vibrant red flowers at their peak around Christmas the native Pohutukawa tree is often referred to as the New Zealand Christmas tree. Due to it’s highly protected status it is uncommon to acquire pieces of this size. Measuring just over 1.2 meters long and between 330 and 550mm wide this beautiful slightly curved live edge slab was retrieved from a tree which fell due to work on the Auckland motorway. The Pohutukawa Slab Light is fully dimmable has 3 longitudinally adjustable LED fittings, the Led controller is inside the unit.
