The desk lamp is one of JK Bespoke’s  original pieces and  was designed with a mid century theme in mind This Desk lamp is crafted from recycled native Matai.  In this case the wood cut from a salvaged floor joist , the black filled “dots” on the light are the holes left by the original floor board nails . The mid century theme is continued with the addition of a toggle type on/off switch and the use of a true fabric covered braided cord. The completed light has been finished with JK Bespoke’s  in house made “Manuka Hive Bees Wax” which imparts a  soft glow and feel to timber.
